OUR CLIENT'S CHALLENGE

Videocon discontinued managed services contract with Huawei in 2013. At the time, the company was faced with the challenge of managing existing network without support from OEM in large parts of the country and providing superior quality of service on its 2.75 G network. Cellasia was awarded a four year managed service contract in the first quarter of 2013 for all of its 4 circles for operating and maintaining the full network with the help of trained Field Engineers, Drive test Engineers and technician provided by Cellasia.

CELLASIA'S ENGAGEMENT

Cellasia rapidly mobilized a team of more than 80 professionals to carry out the tasks that were outsourced to it. These included from rollout to operations, building and operating the network monitoring and surveillance center, field line maintenance for the network (Telecom CM/PM), first and second level maintenance for all central functions installed base (Core/IN/VAS/etc.), as well as full network optimization (2G/3G/Core/Transmission) including drive tests and physical changes.
Cellasia was responsible for adhering to strict service level and availability KPIs early on after network roll-out.
